Artwork Commission Agreement

If you are responsible for the development of a public art project, something for a company or an organization, you will probably receive a review and signature contract from the Commission. The Commission`s treaties allow the Commissioner to have some control over and contribute to a project. When reviewing or drawing up a Commission treaty, be sure to cover more than the fundamental themes of a Commission treaty. It`s nothing more than that. The structure and details make your relationship with your sponsor strong. They will feel supported and ready to create. Regardless of your artistic limitations for commissioning work, you should always establish a written contract or commission agreement in which you tore your own provisions. Depending on the size of the Commission, there may be several recording moments. While the person or party that paid for you to create may be familiar with your work, they have a vision in mind of how it will end. Make sure all parties feel good about the commission process.
